What an insult and what a compliment at the same time. Because then I wouldn’t be able to produce as much and as quickly. I personally think two or three paintings per week is a decent production, but who the hell am I? My experience with the style I’m creating now is that people are very enthusiastic about it and even buy my paintings. My idea is to keep it affordable, but also to make some money from it. Even younger people like it and would be interested in buying it or placing an order. Now, I think my prices are fair, but I also realize that a painting is an average weekly wage for some people. And I think I should keep it that way. Of course, I want to make money, but I also want ordinary, hard-working people to be able to buy art. The gallery owner from Paris told a great buyer of two of my paintings that I should develop them with AI and then have them printed (I have my reservations about that) because I want the people who buy my work to have an original, not a copy. Maybe I’m being too idealistic, but I think it’s already quite remarkable that it’s going so well. I’ve even offered young interested parties the chance to pay for my work in two or three installments.I feel so honored that all these people are so interested in my work and style that I think I should continue this way. Or should I listen to that gallery owner in Paris and have my work copied and printed? Something inside me tells me I should continue as I am now.The gallery owner from Paris is a friend of a client who has already bought two paintings from me, and who is very active in supporting me and trying to sell my work. And I respect and appreciate that immensely from him, that he does that for me. We live in difficult times, and I’m very fortunate to be experiencing this. I thank everyone who has supported me thus far.
I'm too old for a gallery owner from Paris.
