that has to do with the Gregorian calendar switch by pope Gregorius XIII, and that it is simple because in the spring new life starts and that’s the normal nature way how people long long time ago knew when the new year started, and everything was more balanced with nature, and some other shit, but you should do some research on it. normaly there where even 13 months in a year. look at it it’s interesting stuff bro
