Monsters…. is about a Dutch man from a large entrepreneurial family, who has a wildly eventful life of entrepreneurship and crime behind him, and has moved to a picturesque mountain village in the south of France. Where he now lives as an artist. His life was full of corruption, bribery, debt collection and the entanglement of the business world with the underworld. After he has become fed up with all the developments that take place in the World, which negatively influence everyone’s life. He makes the insane decision to try to change something. Together with friends from his criminal past and from his French village, they devise a plan that is carried out in different countries, to try to leave something good behind for the people, different from what they have done before. This story leads to idiotic and hilarious moments, soaked with humor, tension, kidnapping, political power, corruption and eroticism.

Monsters gaat over Nederlandse man uit een grote ondernemers familie, die een wild bewogen leven van ondernemen en criminaliteit achter de rug heeft, en is verhuist naar een pittoresk berg dorpje in het zuiden van Frankrijk. Waar hij nu leeft als een kunstenaar. Zijn leven zat vol met corruptie, omkoping, incasso en de verstrengeling van de zakenwereld met de onderwereld. Nadat hij het zat is geworden van alle ontwikkelingen die zich in de Wereld afspelen, die iedereen zijn leven negatief beïnvloed. Neemt hij het krankzinnige besluit om te proberen er iets aan te veranderen. Samen met vrienden uit zijn criminelen verleden en uit zijn Franse dorpje, beramen ze een plan dat in verschillende landen tot uitvoering gebracht wordt, om te proberen iets goeds achter te laten voor de mensen, anders dan ze vroeger gedaan hebben. Dit verhaal leid daar door tot idiote en hilarische momenten, doordrenkt met humor spanning, ontvoering, politieke macht, corruptie en erotiek.

Ok people I only need to sell 150,000 books then I can buy a very small village with 35 hectares of nature and forest in the mountains, near me, with 17 independent living units, a main street and a village square, and of course I will build a pub there. And then of course all artists are welcome in that fantastic inspiring little village, to get away from the civilized world for a while, to be fully creative. Sigh I’m dreaming a bit, no fuck it, what are 150,000 books that’s nothing man, who wants to come? You are all invited.
